How this portal is paid
Briefly: through affiliate links. When a reader goes from here to the operator and opens an account there, the portal may receive a fee from an affiliate programme. That is a standard model across the industry and a standard conflict of interest. We do not bury it in a footnote, because a hidden interest is the only kind that actually damages a reader — a stated one is simply a fact to weigh.
What it changes for the reader
Financially, nothing. Arriving through an affiliate link does not change a price, a bonus condition or a withdrawal procedure. The fee is paid by the operator out of a marketing budget. The single thing that changes is that the portal can see where a referral came from — with no personal data attached, as set out in the privacy policy.
What it does not change about the verdict
The criteria and their order are fixed and public. Licence and its verifiability rank first; catalogue size ranks last. That ordering is published on the review methodology page and does not move for a campaign. Weak points stay in. The operator does not see texts before publication and cannot demand changes. Placements are not for sale.
The strongest safeguard against money bending a judgement, though, is not a promise but a method. Our most important criterion is not our opinion: it is the public register of the Tax and Customs Board, which records whether an operator holds an Estonian permit, whether it is valid and which addresses it covers. No affiliate programme can edit that entry, and a reader can look it up without us.
Which links are affiliate links
Every button and link that leads from a page here to the operator. Links between pages of this portal are navigation and earn nothing. The rule of thumb is one line long: if the link leaves the portal for the operator, it is an affiliate link.
Things we do not do
- Call any platform an official site or write in the operator's voice.
- Publish player testimonials with names, cities and amounts.
- State licence numbers or corporate details we have not seen in a register.
- Offer predictions or staking systems.
- Soften a weak point in order to raise referrals.
Why say any of this
Because a reader should know which interest a text was written under before weighing it. A portal whose revenue depends on referrals has an interest in readers proceeding. The only way that interest does not become misdirection is to leave the point of verification in the reader's own hands — the register, the campaign terms, the cashier interface.
